We call balloon vine plant "Mudakathan" in Tamil and this plant is very famous in Tamil Nadu for it's use in treating joint pains. Mudakathana is a climber with balloon like fruits and it's botanical name is cardiospermum halicacabum. It is called kanphata in Hindi and is best identified with the leaves
